In celebration of the Day of the Dead | Día de los Muertos, we offer a limited edition chocolate. This year, we present Crescendo, an estate Mexican cacao stone-ground with maple sugar to a rustic texture. Crescendo aged for one year in vanilla bean, cinnamon bark, pink peppercorn, and habanero, and as you taste the chocolate, the spice gradually increases in intensity.
Each recipient of Crescendo received a sentiment of the same name to accompany the chocolate. The sentiment is a song inspired by the musical term crescendo. The lyrics follow:
